Need help with item not as described

I bid on a fisher price swing and won. Shortly after I won it the seller contacted me to tell me that it no longer played music his daughter had got her hands on it. I don't really want a musical swing that doesn't play music!
How can I go about cancelling this transaction without ending up with bad feedback etc. I haven't paid for it yet.
Hope someone can help.

Tell him you're sorry but you can't buy it as it's not as described. It may be a ploy on his part to get out of the sale - did you get it cheaply?

It would be very unreasonable of him to give you N' feedback. Explain that you no longer require the item, as it's not as described. Don't forget you can leave him N' feedback too, which he will want to avoid.

I wondered if it was a ploy actually because i got it for £10.50 and on his listing he said that some were selling for £27 because he had been watching and he also had a bin price of £30. Will have to keep an eye out and see if he puts it back on again.
