that looks like a good selection of clothes

ChippyMinton · 11/06/2007 22:23

you have two pictures of the white trews and swirly top - could be misleading.
Nice bundle though.

zakismum · 11/06/2007 22:27

Might be worthwhile writing how many items are in the bundle.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 11/06/2007 22:32

No, real floorboards in this house, dahling.....

Lulu - i just spotted that myself and have change.

Zakis - it says in the item title that there are 21 items.

Thanks for your input folks.

oops! Just testing.

SoMuchToBits · 11/06/2007 22:35

Looks like a nice load of stuff. Think you might make more money though if you listed the items separately or in smaller sets. Just a thought.

Ulysees · 11/06/2007 22:36

It's so exciting when it's your first listing. I was a buyer for ages and thought it'd be too complicated but it's easy.
Hope you make a good sale

VeniVidiVickiQV · 11/06/2007 22:37

Ah, thats interesting SMTB. I thought that big bundles tended to get more - more likely to cause a bidding war.....?

Aww thank you all. You are all lovely.

Think it depends whether people are looking for a large bundle, or one particular item. I have sometimes listed several Boden clothes separately but at the same time, and one buyer has bought a few of them. I get the impression they might not have spent the same total amount on something which they considered as one "item" even though it contained as many clothes. But see how yours goes - you may make a fortune!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 11/06/2007 22:44

Fingers crossed

Hi,

Looks good. If it was me (and I know it is not) I would put the following section at the top so they can see they are getting quality etc. before they trawl through teh list of items.

"All items are in excellent condition unless otherwise stated.

Some really pretty things that my daughter loved wearing and was upset to not fit into anymore.

All items come from a completely smoke free home".

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/06/2007 00:02

Good point SMS. I will change that now.

to me the 'some lovely things that my daughter loved wearing and is upset...' line makes me feel like they're well-worn

personally I'd imagine people would prefer things to have light-usage if considering buying them so you might wish to consider changing it / removing it

just a thought

Twiglett · 12/06/2007 11:17

White 'Butterfly girl' t-shirt with frilled sleeves - has a small yellow stain/discolouration on the colour at the back of the neck. I've only noticed this while listing the item so it is not noticeable on wearing

should that be 'collar' not colour?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/06/2007 13:39

Err yes...you are quite right

will change later.....ta!

How's your listing doing VVVQV? I have travel guide books on ebay at the moment so hope they sell too
Meant to ask did you weigh your clothes and was that the lowest postage cost? I just know high postage can put people off.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 14/06/2007 11:10

166 views, 5 watchers but no bids. 2 days to go - thank you for asking

I did weigh the clothes, yes. I wanted to make sure that I wasnt being unreasonable, or, be out of pocket. The postage costs is exactly as it says for 1st class (doesnt include packing either!).

lovely clothes VVV, if DD was 2 not 5 I would be interested!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 14/06/2007 11:15

aww thank you

OP posts:
TheDevilWearsPrimark · 14/06/2007 11:19

I want!
It will be a couple of years before DD could fit into them, but I still want them, lol.

BTW Most people don't bid until the last few hours.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 14/06/2007 11:21

TDWP - they are gorgeous clothes, go bid on them immediately

The little Elle outfit is worth paying £13.69 for on its own. My mum bought it for DD in Spain. They have such pretty Summer clothes for girls over there.
