I don't but then i am a pessamist.

My friend is begging me to find the money to go on her hen weekend but i'd need to give her the £150 by November , so can it be done ??

I do have 2 boxes of stuff upstairs that is waiting to be sorted and sold, and could have another rumage through but I don't have anything that will put a real dent in the £150 target.

I definetly think it is possible. Maybe if you have clothes etc then stick on in bundles to save listing fees. I am trying to make quite a bit at the minute on ebay. Not doing too bad and have around £200 in my paypal account at the minute..although if I stopped buying at the same time it would be closer to £300

You can certainly make £150!
Easy.

What you got to sell?

You need to sort your paypal. You have to provide other card details I think to verify you.

Nemo2007 · 09/06/2007 10:01

there is a charge on paypal which is quite high I think but like you it stops me spending it straight away.

NuttyMuffins · 09/06/2007 10:08

Hmmm not sure what you mean about the other card details. I only have one card, crappy electron thingy, and thats what i use to pay for stuff through paypal on there.

Will go have a look.

you can use electron as thats all I have, its more about whether you want the account to accept credit cards or only funds in the account/bank tansfer stuff.

Nbg · 09/06/2007 10:13

Well we had to provide a back up card so dh put his credit card on it.

NuttyMuffins · 09/06/2007 10:17

Have done it i think. Upgraded to a premier account, and it says i can now accept all forms of payment, and thats it, didn't ask for another card or anything.

It does say though that to be able get money transferred over to my bank, they need my bank account details. Do I have to do this now or can i leave it until nearer the time ?? If i do it now i am likely to draw it out as soon as it reaches £50.

think you can wait

Nbg · 09/06/2007 10:22

Thats it, you've done it.
I'd wait to give your bank details but remember it takes a few days for money to transfer.

Get yourself some kitchen scales and print out the postal charges on the RM website. Also get packaging stuff ready - I send soft stuff in the grey bags from Ebay I've used these before but there are loads, the pound shop usually do packs of jiffy bags too, a decent marker pen is useful too. I reckon you should be able to do £150 - good luck!

If you ask the post office for some special delivery envelopes (those silver plastic ones) they will send them to you for free. If you then don't want to send stuff special delivery then you can just turn them inside out.

They send them in packs of 25
