Has anyone sold Tesco Vouchers on Ebay?

I have someone interested in buying my Tesco vouchers on Ebay but they are keen to use them for a holiday or flight.
I did phone Tesco and was told that the tickets would be issued in my surname so one of the travellers would need to have my surname. Is that correct or did I misunderstand him?
I thought the vouchers are exchanged for tokens of some sort which are then exchanged for tickets (ie particular flight, dates, times) at which point the name would be printed on to them. You can tell I have never used them before!

Never brought or sold on ebay - but there are definately some particular vouchers where the person who holds the clubcard has to travel. Check the T&C on tesco website for the 'deal' they want. Haven deffo needs the clubcard holder to travel. Not sure if they actually enforce it though TBH.

Also bear in mind that the deals tokens will automatically be dispatched to you, so you are likely to be the one to order the 'deal' and then you would post on teh 'deal' tokens.

Haven't bought or sold my vouchers, but did use them to purchase holiday (siblu) vouchers earlier this year.

Not 100% sure but I think the siblu vouchers had my name and clubcard number on them, so no-one else could have used them...

I didn't think they could be used for a holiday either, but the buyer is keen. Obviously I won't sell them to her unless I know she can use them.

sorry can't help - but i did get some daily mirror vouchers with the rest of the junk mail last week, listed and sold within 10 minutes for a fiver

people will buy anything!

Exactly what does your buyer want to use them for?

I've sold my tesco vouchers many times on ebay but I always state on the listing that "some deals are non-transferrable" and link to the clubcard site.

TBH I think it is up to the buyer to check out whether or not it is appropriate to bid for your vouchers.

After the auction, the winning bidder provides me with the deal code they wish and I send off for the vouchers and forward them straight on to the winner when I get them.

My reasoning is that if they can provide me with the deal code then they have obviously been to the website and know at least something about the rules & regs!

I did link to the website on my auction. The buyer asked about using the vouchers for a holiday, I phoned Tesco and was told that someone with my surname would need to be travelling so I forwarded that information on to the Ebay user.
They then asked me if I could buy the tickets for them if they give me all the details and they also asked for my surname.

But, it doesn't matter now as someone else won them, sent payment instantly and is looking at the deals to see which one they want. I don't know if I will sell my vouchers in future, but I wanted the money this time for something else!

I tried to use one Tesco voucher from a friend to get a weekend break and Tesco wrote back and told me to phone. When I phoned I was told that what I had done was illegal. I said I thought it was OK because people sold them all the time but she said they were aware of this and were trying to stop it.
