Has anyone else noticed that more people are pouncing on your auctions within minutes asking for BIN prices?

I have listed about 20 items and within the first day I had loads of people asking if I would accept £x or if I had a buy it now price in mind.
Is it the done thing now, did I miss something?

I've noticed this too.

i suppose it helps out in the way that we don't have to pay the extra for the BIN option for all our listings, we just wait for them to ask and just pay for those

I guess it's the I can't wait! I want it now! frame of mind? Or the fear that someone else will get in first by asking for the BIN?

Maybe they are the little old ladies who used to go to jumble sales and elbow anyone who got in their way to floor?

Got to love it - but it's a shame that we lose the excitement of the auction-end (or am I just sad that this is the only excitement in my life? )

Lol at old ladies elbowing, so true. I sold one of the items early as it was a good price and TBH I wasn't entirely sure it would sell. I was offered a 'should I shouldn't I' price for something else and declined as they were going for better prices at auction, so now I am nervous! I got a ridiculous offer on something that is now up to that price with 5 days left, do people think sellers don't do their homework?
Anyway glad it's not just me, it's happening to others too.

I've noticed this too lately. I quite like it though. If i can negotiate a fair price I'm more than happy to sick a buy it now on. Saves people waiting til the last minute and then forgetting to bid!
