Why is this on my ebay sales? Does everyone get taxed?

Been selling dd's bits and bobs for years now and giving her money made from selling her items. Have I been calculating her profits wrong all this time. Do we lose another 20% VAT tax for all we sell on top of everything else. I am not a business seller.

I have been really confused on seeing this but in actual fact it looks like that charge is all inclusive of my final value fees Trust me to start trying to understand my ebay invoices. Is the 10% ebay fees and 3.4% paypal fees +20p all I need to worry about deducting when I make a sale? I only went on their investigating trying to make sure ebay hasn't conned me out of any of my free listings with all these new rules regarding best offer ect

If you see not a business seller you aren't charging vat but ebay being a business is charging you vat.
