Got a message through on ebay today where someone was asking about an item and when would it be posted if he purchased today.
Went to log in, and realised I couldn't. Turns out my password and email had been changed, and I had been hacked. The hackers had sold two BBQ tables.
Spoken ebay who have advised they will deal with it, but is there anything else I need to do? I've changed my password and email on there.
How does a scam like this even work? What do the hackers get out of it? As the payment is on hold so not sure how they even get money out of it?
