Trying to list multiple items on one auction - argh!

Can anyone help me please? Im so useless at eBay! 😂

I'm trying to sell one item that has two different colours. I've gotten that far in the listing. However the problem I'm having now is listing the quantities of variations. Ive got 10 of item a and 5 of item b. eBay for some reason won't let me put in a quantity of each, it will only let me put in an entire quantity (so 15 items, not 10 of a & 5 of b). What am I doing wrong please? Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

Did you find out how to do it?

RedWineAllMine · 13/07/2018 10:29

I think only business sellers get that option.

Vitalogy · 16/07/2018 18:01

I think only business sellers get that option. Is that the same with re listing items? Because it's turned into a long winded pain in the bum as far as I can tell.

RedWineAllMine · 17/07/2018 00:54

Ebay have turned selling into a long, painful pain the ass drawn out process now. Abiding to offers in order to get free listings. They are really putting me off from selling anything now and it's pissing me off. Not sure about re listing items, I never used to have a problem re listing and haven't re listed for a while due to being busy with other work stuff. I will put some stuff on tomorrow and will have a fish around and will report back here with what my findings are.
Gone are the days of re listing and listing stuff to exactly your terms. They have wangled in click + Collect as a mandatory postage option now too, as well as your preferred postage option.
To turn click + Collect off you need to opt out of it in settings.

Vitalogy · 17/07/2018 05:19

You're automatically opted in to the Global Shipping thang too, I personally don't mind that though but still. Good look with your listings.

RedWineAllMine · 19/07/2018 23:40

Right, so basically you've got to do this to get the free listings from now on. Gone are the days of listing how you wanted 😡

That's weird Red I've not come across that yet. I've had constant listings for a good while now, so maybe when starting from scratch again I'm come across this.

Are you not going to bother then?

RedWineAllMine · 20/07/2018 10:34

I got the message in my message inbox telling me, then I go to look on my account and right at the bottom I came across this. Then every time I listed with those instructions I had used 1 of my 100 free listings. If I didn't stick to this I see a £0.35p listing fee. So it is coming so beware!

Vitalogy · 20/07/2018 10:49

I don't post anywhere near 100 listings a month luckily. I have a lot of re listing of same items going on too, not sure if they count and use up my allowance.

So you'll just have to keep an eye on that. Hope you have success selling your items.

RedWineAllMine · 21/07/2018 16:06

Could be rules to sellers with certain allowances then. I have over 150 items on my Ebay page and my selling allowance entitlement is quite high. However I must say, since listing buy it now with best offers, I have generated more sales and interest. So there is a theory to eBay's madness. However to get around loosing out with the best offer I just list buy it now price slightly more than what I expect or want to get for it, that way when the buyer sends me an offer they think they are getting a deal/bargain! 👹

Vitalogy · 21/07/2018 16:34

Method in their madness then Grin

Higher price buy it now sounds like a good plan!

RedWineAllMine · 22/07/2018 13:32

I first got this inbox message in June. So check your inbox! If you didn't receive a message like this then it doesn't apply to you.
However in my account I have also noticed I also get 20 free listings a month listing in whichever format I like.

Can't say I remember getting that. So mustn't apply
