Sorry its me again

The person who won my first item 5 days ago said she would pick up the item. I have emailed her numerous times asking when she will be picking it up etc. (cash on collection) but she has not replied to any of my emails, I really want it gone but am I being impatient? How long do you normally leave it?

Sorry

we have recently been in the same situation. we emailed again at 7 days and said if we dont hear from you in 2 days we will relist.

he never replied, we relisted!

i dont know what ebay law is on this though....

Give her till after the long weekend, then I would email saying if you have not arranged a time by the end of the week that you will be relisting it

I think that is really ample time

FrannyandZooey · 25/05/2007 18:12

Just checked up on it - you can send a payment reminder after 3 days, and then open an unpaid item dispute after 7 days, but I think you'll have a better chance of a good resolution with this buyer if you can give them a little more time before getting heavy

Oh thank you I will send her another email stating this and see what she comes back with.

Thank you again

Hi Hillary - out of interest, which one was this? The baby's or the doll's? I forget which was which - if it was the baby's, did you still have the details of the person who offered more? (Was that the burgundy one if I remember rightly?)

I know this is like locking the stable door after the horse has bolted but I always add the words...

Please contact me immediately to arrange collection and cash payment.

If not collected within 5 days the item will be relisted.

The longest I've had to wait for collection is three days.

You can use the dispute console to Report an Unpaid.

e-Bay will send an Unpaid Item reminder to your buyer, encouraging them to complete the transaction. If the buyer still does not pay, you can use this form to file for a Final Value Fee Credit.

Here's more information on eBay's Unpaid Item Policy.

Please note: Only transactions with a winning buyer are eligible for a Final Value Fee credit.
Some disputes can be reported immediately after the item closes, but most require a 7 day waiting period. You cannot report a dispute if more than 45 days have elapsed.

You also leave negative feedback stating the buyer did not pay and did not reply to messages.
