Selling an item - buyer chose to collect from Argos

I'm a longtime eBay seller (private, not business) and this is the first time I've come across this.

Sold an item and despite not offering this anywhere in the listing, the buyer has opted to have it delivered to a local Argos.

I've checked and this would leave me exposed under PayPal's seller protection policy - not sure about eBay's.

What I don't understand is how the buyer was able to choose this option despite me never including it in the listing?

I've just had a look and those CFs at eBay have made it so that you have to manually opt out of "click and collect" under Site Preferences.

You've been warned!

In what way?

Ebay do it automatically even if you don't choose it as an option when listing now.
You have to manually opt out of it - easiest way go to the desktop Ebay site www. Then go to your account - settings- site preferences. It's in with the site preferences. I started a thread not long ago on this subject if you check Ebay threads on here.
