Hi, a buyer has contacted me to say they haven't received item, I posted it 1st class 7 days ago. I have a receipt to show proof of posting, was just wondering if anyone knows what I should do? Thanks.

Contact post office & give them details on proof of posting. They will look into if item has been delivered or not - it may take a few days. Email buyer & let them know what you're doing. If item is lost in post you can claim back cost of item up to, I think £25.

P.O. won't consider the item as "lost" for 3 weeks, but worth talking to them to find out procedure for claiming.

Thanks will do that right now.

ask your buyer to get in touch with their local sorting office and to ask the neighbours - so far this has always worked for me [touch wood]
