It's been a while since I've sold and the eBay app has changed a bit. I'm getting my listing ready but have noticed 'best offer' with a tick next to it and can't see how to get rid of that-I've set a starting price but not a reserve price. I can also see other payment options on the preview and can't seem to set it to PayPal only as previously.

Just trying again! I've had an offer today for an item but I don't want offers- I just want it to be sold auction style. I can't remove the best offers bit from the listings.

It's easier to do it on the app. Go to the app, find the listing then click on it. You will see a 4 choice drop down menu, click "revise offer settings" form there you can turn offers for that listing off.
I don't know why Ebay have automatically started doing this now, well I do, it's so a item has more of a chance of selling, but it should be down to sellers preference wether they want it or not. It's a pain in the ass.
I don't think you can yet select to Turn it off for all items, you need to manually go into every item that your selling and change the settings to not allow best offer.

Thank you for the reply. I'm on the app and can't find a drop down menu. I've clicked on revise item but can't see any other options. This is all I can see...

Yes it's the review offers!! Press that. You can then turn the offer option off from that. That's what I meant, review offers tab.

And that's what I meant via the drop down menu too. I should have been more specific, it's not drop down menu, it's 4 options that you see when you bring up the item you're selling.

That's brilliant! Thank you for the info!

And be aware that if you revise your item, the allow offers seems to get ticked again, so you need to remove it again. It’s a pita. They tell you to set the start price at the lowest price you are willing to accept, and an hour later you start getting stupid offers for half the price.

Yes you have to remove it each time...it seems to set to default.. drives me nuts as a few times I've been offered ridiculous prices and had no idea it was set to 'best offer'
