So - does a "full refund" include the return postage ??

Well - have been ebaying for ages - and have had my first ever complaint !

Apparently a Boden blouse I sold has a huge yellow stain down the front ! I can't imagine how I didn't notice - or where it's come from as I'd only worn the blouse twicce and it was just too short for me - but anyway the buyer sent me quite an arsey email and I've replied saying of course I will give a full refund !

So - do I pay her postage too ?

I think you are meant to state it in your terms and conditions.
I would first ask for the blouse to be returned and then refund the cost of that postage and the selling price minus the postage charged to send it to them in the first place.
(thats what I would do anyway)

Yes I've asked for her to send it back - and my Ts & Cs do state returns accepted if I've misdescribed something - but I'd never thought about the return postage.

If I was her I'd expect me to pay it - but that leaves me out of pocket (only about £1.40) - and if there is no stain I will not pay it I think. If there is a stain I will pay all postage I guess !

I can't believe I didn't notice a big yellow stain though !

yup - ask her to return it and then you refund the lot, including her return postage.

If it's a big in yer face stain that you couldn't possibly have missed then tell her you are not falling for it
