Seller has posted to the wrong address - what are my rights?

Seller has posted to the address on my profile however at check out I selected a different address for it to be sent to. So on the Order Details page it clearly says which address it should have been sent to.

Should the seller refund me the cost of postage, as I now have to forward it on to the correct person/address?

Is it the same address that you have on PayPal?

Iirc, the seller is only protected if they post to the ebay/PayPal address.

What's the seller saying?

It’s the address that accompanies the PayPal payment that’s important. What does the PP sales record say?

If the seller can’t prove delivery to this address then you will win a not received claim.

Oooop just noticed you have the item. If the address you wanted it sent to does accompany the PP payment you would still win a not received case but morally I would refund minus the onwards postage. (Assuming the seller doesn’t cooperate that is).
