Top arrived stained (disgusting)

I have received an item described as in good condition, it has stains around the collar and has a stain I am thinking is a possibly a bodily fluid.
I've opened a case in the resolution centre but it is only to request a refund. What's the rule ? Do I have to post it back? What if they say they haven't received it back?

The seller has a week to respond and accept the return. If they don’t ebay will force them to.

The seller may agree to refund without you sending the item back, or they may ask for it back first.

If the latter will be issued with a pre paid returns label to return the item, this is a tracked service so you don’t need to be worried about the buyer claiming they haven’t received it. In fact they don’t need to receive it, as long as there’s an attempt at delivery you will get your refund.

It's revolting and I dont want to handle it any more.

Just stick in in a plastic bag and tape it all up so that if you have to return it you can just stick the label on it and post.

I've had a message from eBay saying 'return completed' and that I've had a refund. There's no other message or nothing about a returns label , or instructions to post it back.
Should I take it they've just refunded me? (Sorry for all the questions I've never done this before)!

Hi OP - Yes, than means they’ve refunded you and they don’t want the top back, you can bin it now.
