item not paid for..is this true or not?

i sold an item last saturday. i had no messages from the winner and no payment. as far as i could tell it was a manual bid that won, so she could have paid there and then (i only accept paypal).

so i messaged her wednesday and politely asked when i could expect payment. she told me that she tried to pay, paypal said her card had expired and so had to be set up again. this happened to me not so long back and i was sure that as soon as i entered the new card details it let me use it more or less straight away. i could be wrong though, i cant really remember. anyone know how long this takes?

it can take longer esp if she has a new card number as they need to reverify the card.

cos the 3 dig code at the back changes..

what's her feedback like?

If she can't sort it out within the next few day I'd ask her to send you a cheque first class by wednesday and if you haven't received it by Friday/Sat consider it unpaid.

In the last week - I have had two "sorry I couldn't get to the bank's because my baby needed urgent heart surgery".
