Hi! I got loads of help last night from you seasoned ebayers and I've got another question.
Someone bid last night and then another person bid the same amount and the first person has bid the same amount again. Surely you have to bid more each time? What's going on?
Might go to bed in a minute but I'll check back tomorrow. TIA

Hi there

The earliest bid takes priority if the bids are at the same level - ebay should notify the bidders that they are 1 bod away from being outbid - yes they should be raising thir bids but if they are inexerienced ebayers they may not be putting their highest bid in and letting ebay get on with it! Good luck

Thanks very much! Got another question now!!
People keep asking what the reserve is. Obviously it's not displayed but should I tell them. I don't want to because I don't want them to think that's all the car is worth - it's just the absolute lowest I'll go. Shall I just tell people, or bluntly say no, or lie, or make an excuse?!!

TIA

entirely up to you, don't make up an excuse tho, either tell them the reserve or tell them details are not being disclosed

I'd say something along the lines of - I would rather not disclose the reserve. Thank you for the interest and good luck with the bidding.
