Hi I am new to mumsnet but just wondered if anyone knows anyone in the South east London area that can sell my stuff for me? I Have a baby on the way and moving house and really need to get rid of some stuff but haven't got the time to do it myself! Any recommendation would be great! Thanks

I think these businesses are a bit of a Dying breed tbh as the profit was minimal for the seller and middleman. Plus the potential problems with buyers being able to claim chargebacks for 180 days.

Just shove everything on Facebook or gumtree and be prepared for people to haggle. As long as it’s a reasonable price it will sell. Both are simple and quick to list.

Hiya, don't know if you decided to sell yourself but I am in South London and have used missauction.co.uk to sell my unwanted items, The lady collected from me and literally did everything! So much easier than a car-boot. I received 50% of the sale price which i did think was quite high at first. However she achieved excellent prices for most of my items. Overall great service if you have no time yourself.

Great if you don't mind the greengrocer's apostrophe in all your listings.
