How long would you give a seller before reporting to ebay?

I won a load of wool on 21st April. Payment was by PO or cheque which I didn't notice 'til auction ended. I sent a PO on 25th (having to pay almost £1 extra for the bluidy thing) & it was marked as payment received on 26th. Nothing has arrived so I sent a message on 2nd May which has been ignored. I'm gonna send another today but it's not looking good.

What's annoying me is that I also bought wool on 2nd May, paid straight away by paypal & it arrived next day so why is this other person taking so damn long?

What would you do?

I suppose they could be on holiday, although the listing usually states if that is the case. I would email again and say if you don't hear by 5pm Friday you will be contacting Ebay. I had to do this once with a pram, it worked although I am stilling waiting for feedback from them 2 months later!

Thanks Fimbo - she has had neutral feedback re the length of time some items have taken but she replied that she was waiting for cheques to clear. I paid by postal order so she can't use that excuse here.

open a dispute - once she sends it, close it
