How long should I wait for an item?

Bought something off ebay on 24th April. It said on post, that all items dispatched next day.

Haven't received anything yet. Sent email to seller 2 days ago. No response.

What do I do now, or am I expecting too much?

ebay allow sellers 7 days to post. If you don't receive a reply from them you can start a non performing seller dispute

i would wait till tomorrow then send a email saying oyu will wait till tuesday for reply and if none start proceedings
