A German buyer has won auction for my item, they have sent email to ask for amount due as my posting showed UK postage costs so I would need to recalculate to send to Germany, when I click on Send An Invoice it opens up German ebay which won’t accept my log in details, I don’t know what to do!

If you ticked the box for international delivery he would have been able to bid on it.

He will pay the UK amount you stated and you dispatch it to the international shipping centre. The details should come up once he's paid.

They then calculate and insure the parcel. You don't get involved. It's to simplify eBay international sales. It works very well.

I used to have to calculate and re-invoice international dispatches. Now they do it. They charge the buyer.

It's much easier.

Thank you so much, I didn’t tick the international buyer box, does this mean I could withdraw the winning bid?

If you don't want to post abroad you need to un tick the global shipping programme and tick every country you don't want to post to to barr it.
You can always cancel a bid/sale. Explain your reasons to the buyer, but be prepared for negative feedback if they don't agree.
