Arranging to collect an ebay item by courier

Am wanting to bid on a item which the seller has indicated they would be prepared to have a courier collect (in an email when I asked - the actual ad stated collection only).

Have found several threads recommending couriers, which are really helpful but just wondered whether anyone has tips of what I might do to may the whole thing easier for the seller. I assume that it will be better for them to arrange collection for convenience, but is there anything else I could/should do to help?

Hi,
You can ask the seller what day would be best for them as they will probably have to stay in all day to wait for the courier.

This will of course only work if you can maintain good comms with the seller - easier said than done.
As they obviously don't want to organise a courier it looks like you would have to do it yourslf.

I have arranged couriers a few times, if they are about all day its actually easy but if they need a timed collection parcel force are the best. As Elk said check which day is most convient and let the seller know when its been organised
