Vintage dress arrived with stain which wasn't mentioned in the listing

I won a vintage dress and it arrived this morning.

It has a white stain on the skirt (black dress) that wasn't mentioned at all in the listing. Dress was described as in 'very good condition'. I wouldn't have bid as high as I did (which isn't very high - was £12 + postage) if I'd been aware of the stain.

Would you:

a) suck it up and try and remove stain

or

b) ask seller for partial refund

Really not sure :-/

a lot of sellers don’t offer partial refunds.

If you will still wear it keep it, if you don’t want it then open a not as described case and send it back for a full refund.

It’s up to you.

I'd tell the seller that it wasn't as described and ask for a refund. If the seller refuses open a case. Ebay nearly always sides with the buyer and the 'no refund' doesn't really mean anything. You will almost certainly get a refund.

The OP doesn’t say the seller said “no refunds”?

No, but even if the listing says 'no refund', the buyer can say the item was not as described, open a case and get a refund.
