Any one know why eBay doesn't know where I live?

I don't understand why when I search for a bulky item I'm looking for and filter results to show those within 5, 25, 50 miles etc of my postcode I'm getting results from the north of England but nothing from S Wales where I live? Has anybody else had this and if so how did you resolve it? Not sure if it's a factor but I'm using the iPad eBay app.

Are you using your own personal device, at home?

When I used to use my work laptop or network, it used to think I I was near their head office, which was at the other end of the country.

If that’s not the case, then check your user details and make sure it has the correct address for you.

It might be picking up on where your provider is based. If I turn off the setting that allows my browser to locate me, I get search results for the area where my IP is based.

Check your Ebay details are correct first, and check your settings for allowing location.
