Ebay newbie-should I sell outside Ebay

This is the situation.I had 3 identical items for sale.I decided to auction them one by one.A buyer has just messaged me to ask if i will remove it from the auction and sell it to him for a decent price (£10 more than i am asking,and 15 more than i got for the last one) he says he will pay by paypal.As long as he pays first,theres no risk to this for me is there?

I have said i can sell him the other one,thereby not removing the one i have paid to list.

Apart from it is against ebays rules !

If you have no bids you can re-list it under buy it now then you are covered by Ebay if it goes wrong.

i don't see how it's breaking the rules if you aren't selling him the one you've got listed on ebay and the auction is going to go ahead.

It's up to you really to weigh up the risks.

The way i see it,he was not an underbidder,and the item wasnt ever listed.Another similar one was.
