PayPal & e-cheques

I always used to be able to pay by PayPal without any problems. Last few items have come up as echeques which take 7-9 days to clear. Any idea why or how I can get it changed to transfer quicker?

If a buyer doesn't have the funds in his paypal account the money will come from his/her credit card, therefor it will show as an echeque.
There is nothing you can do but wait I'm afraid.

have you worked out the amount available to you in your paypal account - I'm not sure but I think I've transfered amounts which include non-cleared echeques - but I have wondered what would happen to my account if the echeque bounces.
