What Feedback to Leave?

A newbie - only four feedback bought an item off me 10 days ago.
When they did not pay after a few days I e-mailed a reminder invoice. They responded that they had tried to pay four times but failed. I replied that I would accept a cheque. They had since bought and paid for other stuff and other people were paying me no problem.
I e-mailed again on Saturday asking if they were still interested - no response again but then a payment appeared yesterday 9 days after the original sale (which was on BIN).
I have no idea what to put in the feedback comment or should I just not leave any?
I think it is the lack of correspondance that is irritating me.

then tell them that - transaction completed eventually, communication could have been better.

I'd leave positive and leave a comment similar to aDad suggests.

I agree with aDad

although....don't leave your feedback until the end of the transaction ie. when the buyer has received the item and is happy with it
