What is wrong with these sellers

Sorry I apologise in advance for my rant.

Recently I’ve been buying lots off of eBay.
This is now the 4th time this has happened in a short space of time.

A few days ago I bought a decor item for my dds room. I ordered a hot pink & green item.
I received the item yesterday and it was red and blue so I opened a case of wrong item sent. Explained in my note to the seller that I had ordered pink & green and have received red & blue, how do I go about sending the wrong item back.

Response back was can you send a picture of item ordered and what you have received. No problem so I did that.

Response was sorry for the mistake will you be willing to except a partial refund of £2 and keep the item? (Item was £30)

So I’ve got back In touch and said sorry no I either want the replacement item or full refund and asked if they could send a returns label.

Seller comes back to me. It would be easier all round if you keep the item would you expect a £3 refund?

This is still ongoing and they keep upping the refund amount by a £1 each time and I’m currently up to £8 refund.

I wish they would take the hint and just give me the bloody returns label. I don’t want what they have sent otherwise I would of ordered that one.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I had this a few weeks ago pretty much the same senario. I ordered a jumper and received a body suit leotard thing. So not even remotely similar and had the same hassle with the seller.

Just open a case if they don't help. I always contact sellers first but if there is no joy I open a case. Have had a few broken things, cheap so not worth sending back and they usually refund straight away but I always offer to return them as sometimes they send faulty stock back to where they got it.

With this item they will need to accept a return and send you a postage label or refund you and let you keep it. Can you buy it elsewhere or is it something only they have for sale?

You will need to wait until they respond if you don't want to end up with a second one if they change it.
