eBay

If you buy or sell items on eBay, you will find tips and advice on this forum.

If you saw a fake being guaranteed as authentic and selling for quite a high price, would you report it?

yes without a doubt

Carmenere · 18/04/2007 13:21

yes.

brimfull · 18/04/2007 13:21

are you sure it's a fake?

I would if I was sure about it.

Iklboo · 18/04/2007 13:21

Yes - but might email the seller - they could think they've got the genuine article

Wotzsaname · 18/04/2007 13:22

is this ebay? you can send them the link to investigate.

OK, well in answer to your question ggirl, there's a pair of jeans being sold as 'guaranteed authentic Seven for all Mankinds' on Ebay but they're not. They're by another brand called Seven (who sell their stuff in TKMaxx) and are compltely unrelated.

This kind of thing makes me mad especially as they are going for more than they're actually worth. There's innocent people out there getting conned!

Would feel like a grass though...

(Just re-read this I sound like a whinging tell-tale jobsworth. Nevermind.)

Snitch on them. Innocent mistake or not they won't do it again.

Remember that every ebay buyer that gets ripped off is likly to not use it again and also warn friends off. That leaves us with less customers to sell to.
