What happens next

Bought item, paid immediately, delivery date 5 working days, left for two weeks, got home and no item. Emailed seller through eBay to request item, Seller has now deleted item.

I can't escalate till the 27th but if the seller has deleted item can I get a refund?

10 years on eBay and this is my first negative encounter Angry

Yes you can still get a refund, no need to worry. Just escalate the case and you should get your refund very shortly afterwards.
