Selling overseas- global shipping programme help!!!

This is something I haven't come across before. Someone from the US had bought an item but I've only quoted UK postage. In retrospect I should have said UK buyers only!

It won't let me amend the invoice for overseas payment and keeps sending me to a Global Shipping Programme page. Help!!!!

Are you enrolled in the global shipping programme? (Ebay would have done this automatically and you would have to deselect it in your listings if you didn't want it)

If so you will receive the uk postage and item sale price as per normal, then you just send the item to the ebay shipping centre in the uk, they charge the buyer international postage and send it on from there.

You shouldn't have to be messing about with invoices?

Don't worry about it then, the buyer will be invoices by eBay then you receive your share of the dosh and forward it to their UK global shipping centre, the address will be on the PayPal payment notification.

I sold something via the global shipping program like you without realising. The address was like a business address in Newcastle so I thought it was just someone wanting it sent to their work. Found out later once I got an email to say it had been sent on. then it clicked. Was all very easy, but I have to say I don't like a lot of the changes eBay has made where things happen automatically unless you in an untick like the Best offer on buy it now.

Ps yes they paid - 3 hours before the 48 hour window was up!! 😬 Annoying when you've got to go to the post office twice!
