I sold a pair of Oilily dungarees on e-bay 2 weeks ago there was a bit of a bidding frenzy towards the end but the buyer who won them still has'nt gone throgh checkout or paid. I have sent a number of e-mails and invoices asking them to pay or contact me, all increasing in severity saying I will need to report them and leave negative feedback and make a second chance offer etc. if no payment is received.

I gave them 10 days which was last Friday, but thought I would go for 2 weeks, which is tomorrow.

Up to this point I have never said in my listings "please contact me within etc. of winning the item", but have now done so on other things.

Do you think to report them to e-bay after 2 weeks is fair?

I always worry in case people have been unable to contact me - like when I was recently in hospital - but how long do I leave it.

if you start a non paying buyer dispute it still gives them chance to pay - and in my experience usually does indeed prompt a payment.

2 weeks is more than long enough
