I got an email today, which claims to be sent through the "my messages" part of ebay. However, i have checked (as I always do) and it's not in my messages. Also the layout of the email doesn't ring tru, no meniton anywhere of my ebay name, and i compared it to a genuine one i received and they don't look the same. however i checked the guys name and feedback and he does exsist on ebay mainly as a buyer.
Do you think this guy is dodgy. he doesn't actually ask for any details, he says

"Hello there. I'm ready to buy, but don't know what method you prefere(his spelling), credit card or paypal" and that's it, there are no links or web addresses in his ebay.
Has he maybe been hijacked! Surely though he would be asking for money or trying to sell me something if he had been.

If it's not in "your messages" then it's a scam ! Delete it now !

forward it to :

[email protected]

then delete it!

I get these all the time - they're a scam to try and get you to put your password details in!
