I have just found this on ebay for sale at £5.99.
Amazing as it is from Lidl and costs 99p

I'll have to keep an eye on it and see if my sells. Funny what people will buy.

megletthesecond · 10/07/2017 12:30

it sells.

BikeRunSki · 10/07/2017 12:37

I guess it depends on what it's worth to people who are not near a Lidl.

I have sold an Ikea Antilop high chair (£15) sell for over £40, to someone in the Highlands.

19lottie82 · 10/07/2017 15:30

They've only had 2 orders and the latest one was over 2 months ago.

Perhaps the people that bought them like the product but don't live anywhere near a Lidl?

ImaLannister · 10/07/2017 23:02

We buy to sell! It's called business! Grin Not everyone will know you can buy it for cheaper.

SleightOfHand · 11/07/2017 22:16

They've already sold 3. Yeah, probably can't get to a Lidl, maybe the only thing they can use.

Floggingmolly · 11/07/2017 22:21

But Lidl deliver... Confused

SleightOfHand · 11/07/2017 22:36

But Lidl deliver... confused Are you sure?

Floggingmolly · 11/07/2017 22:46

Well, I googled it. But Drink Has Been Taken, so I could be mistaken.

SleightOfHand · 11/07/2017 23:10

Grin I Googled too but couldn't find.

Ktay · 13/07/2017 09:21

Slight tangent but can I please use this thread to share this example of exorbitant postage? I checked and it's not an error. Postage on their other items (generally old bits of foreign holiday change found down the sofa) is also toppy although not to this extent.

Comparable decanters (I collect naff royal memorabilia Blush , the kitscher the better) go for about a tenner + £5 postage so it's not like they can recoup the true value through the postage...

SleightOfHand · 13/07/2017 15:42

How odd. They've still got 100% good feedback which is a surprise.

ceecee32 · 13/07/2017 18:07

Bloomin eck - £125 postage, Perhaps its being hand delivered

OP posts:
chocolatespiders · 13/07/2017 19:13

Is it good cream?

Ktay · 13/07/2017 21:10

I can only assume that's it @ceecee32. I think the 100% good feedback mainly relates to purchases; there's a neutral one in there for selling an item not quite as described...

Gingefringe · 18/07/2017 17:09

Why would you charge £125 for postage? They probably dont know that you still have to pay ebay fees on that. I think we should all message to ask for confirmation of that price - I'm going to!

Gingefringe · 18/07/2017 19:00

I've just had a response from the £125 postage person:
"£125 is the correct figure. It includes handling and postage. 1p for a Charles & Diana decanter is very good value."
I responded with a "LOL"

monkeyfacegrace · 18/07/2017 19:05

Before time began, people did that on postage to avoid paying sellers fees. So they'd sell the item for 1p and then get the profit via the postage charge.

Now eBay charge fees on postage too, so they aren't very intelligent Grin

ceecee32 · 18/07/2017 20:20

I asked them if it was being hand delivered.
They answered and said it was being sent by second class post !!!

I answered with 'Ha Ha Ha'

Ktay · 19/07/2017 19:07

Grin I too was so tempted to reply with a LOL but DH persuaded me not to. Let me know if you hear back!

It has been relisted (having amazingly not already been snapped up) with the same p+p.
