How do you mark item 'as received' if collected in person?

Asking for DP.
Seller wouldn't courier the item to him so DP took train to collect it. Met the seller.. all went well.. DP paid by Paypal (yes I know seller was illadvised there.. he didn't know DP wasn't dodgy!)
DP got home, left positive feedback

Seller has now phoned asking for item to be marked 'as received'

Cannot find anything saying this!

You can't mark as item as received, all you can do is leave feedback as your DP has done.

The seller can mark it as "dispatched" though.

I didn't think you could mark an item as received, I thought leaving feedback would show that it had been received.

Hi yep. PP's are right. Buyer can leave feedback. It's up to the seller to mark the item as 'dispatched & paid' so seller needs to do this.
It may take a while to come off your DH eBay, as when I've collected stuff I still got prompts to pay now etc. But it disappears after a while.
