it happens alot! if you want to sell to her yes offer a postage price!

fannyannie · 22/03/2007 16:27

yes you can do that - I had this a few weeks back..........but from Italy.....then it turned out he was visiting his Gran in London the following month and wanted me to post the stuff there - so postage was as advertised LOL.

LilRedWG · 22/03/2007 16:28

Yep - email her and say that, as per the description, the postage quoted is for the UK. You can then quote the postage for her to Australia and see what she says.

Iklboo · 22/03/2007 16:28

It's a bugger. She should have checked your email preferences before bidding. Drop her an email & tell her postage quoted was for UK only. She may still be happy to buy with Aussie postage - or let you relist the item.
There's a feature when you're listing that lets you block bids from ebayers in counties you don't want to post to now I think

Sometimes they ask you to post to Uk and sometime sthey want you to send to them (If they haven't contacted me I charge more than usual extra on the P&p for the extra hassle!)

If she doesn't want the item and there were other bids there is a facility to offer the item to the next highest bidder
