Hello

I sold some nappies and sent them myhermes. They say they have attempted 3 deliveries and the sender not been in. 2 of those attempts she was in so she says they can't have attempted. The last attempt online was evening 13 June. There is no more info online. What happens now? I tried their web chat but it seems to be automated as it didn't answer any of my questions, just told me to wait more and then cut me off! Any advice gratefully received. The buyer wants a refund now but I want to wait till I get it back first. Many thanks

Unfortunately if the item hasn't been delivered you must refund, so I'd do that ASAP to reduce the risk of negative feedback.

Now you need to persevere with my Hermes...... I generally find twitter is helpful in communicating with their team.
I'm not 100% sure how things will go from here. I'd say you'd be best getting them returned to you, but they will most likely charge you for that.

Say you dispute the return charge as the recipient was home both times delivery was apparently attempted.

Thank you. So they don't return to sender automatically? Will try Twitter, thanks for the tip

Myhermes are absolutely awful. They are probably lying.

I won't purchase from anyone or any company that uses them.

I've had parcels go missing , ive had a very expensive coat marked as "delivered" when it wasn't and kicked up a right fuss with the retailer and lo and behold it appeared 3 days later ...

I'm not 100% OP, but I'm pretty sure they will charge you to return it to you, otherwise it will be destroyed. I could be wrong though.

In the first instance definitely get the buyer to open a not received case and refund them ASAP, waiting about is just likely to antagonise them into leaving negative feedback and you getting a black mark on your selling account.

Thanks for your help. I sold the item on Facebook so no worries about seller scores, but I do want to be fair. It's getting a little frustrating though as the buyer has sent me a lot of messages about it. I've told her I'll refund whatever happens. It's annoying though as I did say clearly I post via myhermes and I always say that at the outset so buyers can decide. Anyway I've tweeted them and am awaiting a reply. Many thanks
