That link doesn't work. You need to put a link to one of the listings individually, then we can look at all the stuff you are selling

fannyannie · 20/03/2007 13:19

ahh - ok - here is one of the two items I have finishing today.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 20/03/2007 13:26

Oh - too young for DS2 and too old for DD - otherwise I would have bought them

fannyannie · 20/03/2007 13:28

lol - that's ok - I'm just having a last ditch attempt to sell them (2nd listing of them already).

It's wierd I've sold some utter cr*p on there in recent weeks (where I've said plain and clear that it doesn't work/don't know if it works/is broken/tatty etc etc.....yet 2 decent things and people don't seem to want them....)

Guess I should't really complain I've got LOADS more stuff (toys, books, music, CD's etc etc etc etc) to list and at least some of them will sell - just being greedy really.

But I am bumping this for you by posting I guess!

I have loads of stuff to list, clothes, baby clothes, baby swing, all sorts. And just can't find the time (or a tidy enough corner of my house to photograph them ).

You may have inspired me!

TeeCee · 20/03/2007 13:32

If you can't get the £1.50 you require for the puzzle perhaps a charity shop, a local nursery, the childrens ward at the local hospital, your GP surgery etc etc might take them from you?

I gave all DD's easter eggs to my local HV centre who passed them on to a club for young single mums. There's anpother idea for you maybe?

fannyannie · 20/03/2007 13:33

I should be feeling inspired - I've got a 4ft high pile of sheet music/piano music ready to list (sorted it all out on Saturday) in bundles, and quite a few more of the DS's old toys - not to mention more Enid Blyton books which seem to sell ok - I'm just struggling to find the motivation to get it listed.

Mind you the music will take a while as I need to go through and write down what each one is - at the moment it's just been sorted into piles.......urghhhh

TeeCee - I've got a box for stuff that hasn't sold (not much in it yet) to give to my church toddler group/creche (particularly the latter as their stuff is really old and tatty and I cringe everytime I see DS playing with some of it LOL)/charity shops.....just being greedy really wanting to try and get something for some of my stuff before I give it away - especially as it's now been a week since my washing machine died on us and new washing machine would be kind of useful

NormaStanleyFletcher · 20/03/2007 13:42

Oh - what happened to your washing machine? Mine died and it took 4 weeks to get the new drum for it. What a pita. How are you managing without?

fannyannie · 20/03/2007 13:55

it died last monday - was on it's way out anyhow - and we'd planned/budgeted a new one for April/May time (just before DC3 arrives). It just keeps filling up with water and 'washing' (ie doesn't go onto the spin/rinse cycles) and not emptying - we've checked all possible 'blockage' areas and there's nothing there - so it's officially dead.

DH has been hand washing stuff in the bath since then!!!

We've picked out new machine - but Curry's wouldn't give it to us on Credit (which was a PITA as we'd only probably make 1 or 2 payments before paying it off in full LOL) so we're just hanging on until we've got the money organised !

Have you looked at secondtec on ebay - I have got stuff from them and it has been FAB

fannyannie · 20/03/2007 14:21

no we haven't ......we've got our heart set on a lovely 7kg drum Daewoo........and even though DH's back is killing him he's determind to wait until we have the money and getting it brand new .

OP posts:
fannyannie · 20/03/2007 15:56

mind you - it will be good to have something that actually spins most of the water out - its taking me flipping ages to dry it all - thankfully it's quite cool here today so it's a good excuse to have the radiators on all day !

awww don't know who "redbrick713" is but thankyou - I'm sure it's one of you lovely MN'ers as I'd only just bumped the thread only minutes after the bids appeared .

bump

hk78 · 29/03/2007 23:42

fannyannie, when you get your 7kg drum new washer, make sure it is what it claims. MIL had a friend who worked in a dept store demonstrating the large drum machines to people, they used a king size mattress and would stuff it in in front of potential customers, allegedly they used a 'doctored duvet' of a smaller size than claimed lol

fannyannie · 30/03/2007 15:17

ahh my new washing machine is here and its FABULOUS - either it's really an 8kg drum (as opposed to 7kg) or my old "5kg" one was actually a 4kg one as I'm TOTALLY on top of the washing and it's brilliant .

BTW - I hope redbrick - if they are an MN'er got the stuff ok.........got some music on there due to finish tomorrow if anyone is interested

I've got some maternity clothes on ebay that are finishing tonight too so I thought I'd hijack this thread too !

I would really like to raise as much money as possible because all of the money raised will be donated to Tiny Lives a charity which supports premature babies and their familes. When my third was born 4 weeks early their support meant a huge ammount to us, providing baby with his first christmas presents and a selection box each for his brother and sister. Tear jerking at the time it was though.

Thankfully all is well now and I just wanted to give something back.

If you search on ebay under Isabella Oliver you should find my items as I've said similar to above. I've 5 things on auction which you should be able to find.

The trousers are going for a reasonable price, and I'd love the black top to fetch decent money too. Thanks for looking.
