How do I do a partial refund?

Someone bought a top from me and the suggested postage was for a small parcel (£2.90). However, I've been to the post office and it was OK as a large letter, so only cost £1.22.

I want to refund the difference (happy to only be reimbursed for the actual postage).

How do I do a refund of part of the postage? I've just spent half an hour on the ebay and PayPal sites and can't work it out.

Thanks in advance!

I think... Log onto paypal, issue refund button, and you can set the amount refunded (whole or part).

IIRC, Ebay will take 29p from you as 10% of postage even if you refund £1.68. I doubt you care about Ebay's 17p profit, but think carefully in future if it's worth the hassle to refund for small postage difference.

That's great, thanks!

I'm not doing too much ebaying, just getting rid of a few bits, so happy to just charge what it costs.
