Is this a bit shit, or am I being too demanding?

My brother's 40th this weekend, off to a v v lovely restaurant to celebrate. Saw a dress about 4 weeks ago on eBay, life got in the way and I forgot to bid... oh well, that's life.

Anyway was very pleased to get a notification that it was relisted, and immediately bought it on the buy it now option. This was last Wednesday (i.e. 26 April). Seller has over 1000 stars, 100% feedback etc. Postage was listed as 1st class. Dress still hasn't arrived. I sent seller a message 2 days ago to ask when it was posted, and didn't get a reply. Sent another message today to ask when they were intending to post, still no reply.

When the bloody thing finally arrives (too late), am I justified in leaving bad feedback do you think? Or are my expectations too high? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I would be inclined to raise this as a case with Ebay. This will 'force' the seller to respond to you or refund you.
Occasionally sellers get ill or items get lost but given the date you purchased the item, it should be with you.

Once the latest delivery date comes around then you can open a "not received case".

If you get no response from the buyer at all I would leave a negative, but this sounds v odd considering their excellent feedback. Maybe there is a valid reason?

Open a case and see what happens.
