Selling baby stuff on ebay - any thoughts?

I have a mothercare Trenton travel system, with compatible Graco car seat base. Comes with the footmuff, cosytoes, car seat cover and weathershield...have the matching rucksack, but the zip is faulty

also have a Graco entertainer thing, the ones that baby can sit in and has stuff round the edges for them to play with

and a chicco highchair

all in reasonable condition, clean and cared for

obviously has all been used, but not battered and knackered

worth listing ? or shall i stick with the local paper ...obviously whoever wants to buy it will need to collect it....so is it worth putting it on ebay?

do these sorts of things sell well? for a fair price? what would i expect to get for the pram etc and the highchair?

any thoughts for an ebay novice?

look at ebay to see if this stuff sells well and price accordingly, you just needto do a bit of research to find your answers

good luck

hi
i have been selling my baby equipment off recently, it's sold like the proverbial hotcakes tbh, and it's nothing special or out of the ordinary, it must be just that people need that kind of stuff.
i let people collect or i offer to deliver for petrol costs.
i put some stuff in the local papers and didn't hear anything.
the older/cheaper/more battered stuff, i put on auction, however the unwanted presents/toy they only played with once/large items like cot, pram etc. i put on buy-it-now,this seems to make it sell quick.
good luck!

I was thinking the same myself.
I have a Mothercare Trenton Travel system to sell and was wondering if it was worth putting it on e-bay or in the local rag....

You can do a search of completed listings, which shows you what things sell for at different times of day / days of the week. Much more useful than looking at auctions which haven't yet finished.
