**Paypal question** if you pay somebody by PayPal do you see the sellers real name?

I've never bought using PayPal but I wonder whether the people I am selling to can see my name when they pay me.. anybody know?

Hi - they can see your real name and your email address - as far as I know there's nothing you can do to change that but I've never asked the question from paypal. I'm dying to know - why?

I buy with Paypal a lot and I've never seen anyone's actual address, just a name or nickname and an email address.

I want to change my name so my actual name doesn't come up but I don't know how , it's very frustrating.

I doubt whether you could as it's linked to your bank account (unless you have a sideline in false id's?!)

Hi - as a seller they don't see your real name - only your ebay id and email address. As a buyer though they NEED to have your name and address as they need to post the item to you!!
