What Do You Do When Win A Collect in Person Item And The Seller Doesn't Get In Contact With You????

Won an item on Friday night, have emailed the seller Friday, yesterday and today - no response. What can I do now as I really want the item (have not paid yet as was going to do so in cash). Can I report it to Ebay or is it too soon and I should give the seller the benefit of the doubt? Seller only has feedback of 5.

It is possible that they are away for the weekend - I would give it till at least tomorrow night.

Although, that's just me being nice. To go away when you have an item about to be sold, and not check in is, imo, unfair.

I have an item finishing tonight and can't get off computer for checking it every five minutes!!!

you could request their phone number and ring them if you're desperate?

It hasn't even been 48 hours yet, relax! It's much too soon to report to eBay or get their contact details yet. If on Tuesday morning you have not heard anything, then get their phone number and try that.

Some sellers sell full time - I think it's reasonable for them to be able to take a couple of days off here and there. The buyer and seller have 72 hours to make contact with one another under eBay's rules.

Cheers F & Z - I didn't know what the ruling was. Where do I get the sellers telephone number from (if needed).

Seller has never sold anything before this.

If you need to get their contact information you can do so by filling in the details here . DON'T do this before Tuesday morning as your seller will think you are an impatient freak

Have you emailed them via eBay's contact system, or your own email server?

it could be that they use the internet at work hopefully you will hear something tomorrow
