Linking picturetrail photos to your e bay listings

Has anyone uploaded extra photos from picturetrail for free to their e bay listing only to have them deleated or moved?

Picturetrail says on their site you can upload them to e bay which I have been doing
but then they have been deleated.
Not sure if e bay or picturetrail is doing this.

Anyone else come across this?

blueshoes-Do you use picturetrail to add pictures to ebay?

Bit confused if ebay obviously don't get the extra money for adding more pictures but why then does picturetrail advertise that you can do this?

Hi tiptoes, I read a tip from a seller on the ebay community board that there is a way of putting free photos on your ebay listing: here .

Scroll down the first post to where he writes "Free Pictures". I shall reproduce it below.

"FREE PICTURES!
Yep thats right you can have all the pictures of your item you want without paying for a single one. How? well its prettey simple, and like before, you dont need any skill with HTML although you may need to ask for some help from a nerd, but onestly its easy.
First thing you need, pictures obviously, scanned into your PC by one of the methoods I mentioned earlier, Next you'll need your own web space. alot of companies offer free web pages as part of your internet package, others will give you one for free. Personaly Ive got an old homestead one that I se from time to time.
Next you upload your pictures to your site, thats the bit you may need a NERD/10 year old for.
Now open your site up, and look for the images you want.
Position your cursor (pointy thing) over the picture and click your right mose button, a little list will drop down, select COPY.
Now go to the advert your making, and right click again, now select PASTE anywhere on your advert. AND LOOK! a picture, in your AD that you havent paid a penny to use! thats another 12p per picture saved!"

I tried using Photobucket but the cut-and-paste did not work for me. But that could be because I use a Mac safari. Though I would be keen to know if this works for you with Picturerail.

i would be more inclined to put on there that if they wanted more pics to contact me, and i'd send them the link to picturetrail. saves it being deleted by ebay (its prob them doing it as they don't make the money on the pics!)

it is against ebay rules to put links to outside sites on a listing, so I would say it is ebay removing them they do like to make sure they get their money
