Has to be done on carpet... I would be put off something with bits of carpet fluff and carpet dirt (which there must be, on carpets as when I clean my floors the cloth is always dirty) all over it..

Mine look like they are photographed on a laminate floor but it's actually lino, cunningly crafted to look like laminate. I bet that's even more naff.
