Seller wanting paid by bank transfer, I only use PayPal...

They had 'PayPal accepted' on their listing but when I tried to pay it wouldn't process. I contacted the seller and they sent me bank details to use - I really don't want to do it this way so have now asked them (twice) to cancel the sale.
I can't find anywhere on eBay to explain what has happened to them.
I'm going to end up with an unpaid item case against me aren't I 😕

They have to accept PayPal (unless it's cash on collection). Just tell them to get their act together.

This is the message
'The sellers can't accept payments right now. Contact them for help.'

And I've emailed them twice (via eBay messaging)

Paying by bank transfer leaves you wide open for a scamming!

OP contact ebay and tell them you want to cancel the transaction because of an inaccurate listing, if they list they accepted it and now they dont its therfore inaccurate

They have to accept PayPal. Remind them of that.

Their PayPal account may have been suspended so best not to go ahead.
