It's only on day one,a boden fleece.Someone has asked how much I want for it.Should I give her a price? Are you allowed to do this?Would I be better off letting the auction run?

A what? a fleece top? a fleece blanket?
Yes allowed to, depends what you think your'll get for it and what shes offered, have you tried searching(advanced search-past listings) for closed auctions to see what people have sold similar for?

A ladies fleece jacket, she hasn't offered any amount, just asked how much I want.
One sold the other day for £33 ,diff colour and pretty much unworn whereas mine is in great condition but not unworn.

You can add a BIN if you want to (and there has been no bids) You could ask at the higher end and see if anyone pays it?

To change it click on the item in myebay and choose revise. It gives you the listing again and you can edit or add anything.
