Changing email address on ebay and paypal

This is probably a silly question but is it possible to change your email address on ebay and paypal without problems? I have only ever bought on ebay but now am thinking of braving trying to sell a couple of things. I'd prefer to do it under a different email address though.

Yes it is very straightforward. On ebay it's in My Ebay, My Account and personal information. I'm sure it's similar with Paypal.

I tried and tired to change my email address on eBay. In the end I had to open a new account in new name as I oculdn't access my old email address. I think they were sending their replies to my emails there. It was very frustrating.

I changed my e-mail and postal addresses with both back in August ok.
