Wrong item received

I won a gameboy advance and 8 games(it looks like a gamboy colour though)for DS1 for £21 including P+P which is excellent.

I had been in hospital last week when package arrived and only opened it when i got home. Inside was a gamecube with stacks of games.

Contact has been made between seller and myself and I have agreed to return the item as it ain't mine however am unwilling to cover the cost of postage.

I have asked seller to send my item with a cheque/postal order for postage amount before I return the gamecube as I dont want to be out of pocket.

Seller has replied with "here's my address" will be happy to cover costs however no mention if my item will be sent 1st.

Thing is I ain't sending the gamecube back till I receive my item is this unreasonable?I think not but then thats my view

tbh if it was me, I would want the original item back before I send the correct one out, as it would have been my fault I would re-imburse postage in the form of a cheque when I send the correct item out.

I am sure you hinest, but there are a lot of people out there who are dis-honest.

if it is their fault, they should do their bit first imo. i would not send it back before receiving the postage money. would poss wait for item depending on their feedback as that will still be covered by ebay guarantee (dont know if that includes postage on item you won tho, you may lose that if they are awkward)

I don't want to let this item go until i get my one though.

But then I think the person who has my item may be saying the same and this may not ever be resolved.
