Should I just cancel this sale?

I have some tickets for an even listed, the tickets have not been dispatched yet (this is standard) and I put in the listing that I will forward my confirmation email and screed shots of my account to show the tickets are real and will post the recorded as soon as they are dispatched.
Someone purchased two of the tickets BIN yesterday but has not paid yet, I've just logged in and found I have 8 messages from her which all basically say "confirm you have the tickets in hand"
"I'll send payment ASAP once you confirm you have tickets in hand"

I messaged her back and said 'it's standard for tickets not to be sent out until two weeks before the event, but as I said in my listing I will post as soon as they are dispatched to me.'

She has replied with "can you confirm you have the tickets in hand and I'll send payment."

She's going to turn around and say 'I'm not paying until you have the tickets ready to post out' isn't she?

Would you cancel the sale?
Or should I wait and see?

I'd reply saying that if payment is not received by x date I assume you do not wish to proceed and will relist the tickets

Sorry for all the typos.
On my phone and walking around shops on my lunch break.

Thanks AllThebest

I've sent her another message and just said "I do not have the tickets in hand yet, I will forward booking information to you when you have sent payment and as soon as they are dispatched I will forward them onto you.'

Are these tickets on eBay? eBay don't allow you to sell tickets anymore (as they have a separate sister site for this, StubHub). Chances are they will be pulled pretty quickly.

Personally I wouldn't even sell tickets on eBay anyway........ it could lead to a whole load of hassle........ try Gumtree.

There was a radio 4 article about ticket scams on eBay/ticket selling sites. Must admit it I'd be a bit cautious as a buyer too.

And sending recorded may not be adequately insured either.

She's right to be so cautious. You sell the tickets that you don't yet have, she pays, a few weeks pass so she can't make a claim against you and you don't send the tickets. You have her money and her tickets and there isn't a thing she can do about it.

I woudnt pay until i was sure tickets were going to be posted.
